My problem is that after finding an interesting Box with the Longuevue bonus, I can't disable it to open the Box. I clicked on the icon, but it still remains activated.

The long view bonus is used to look at what's in the boxes without being debited from your Rounds (which also means that you're not credited with points, either).
To find the Loot, it Help:)
You can activate and deactivate it by clicking on it.
