When time shows its distress
When my heart is tightened with sadness
When it contemplates this time
When death is nothing and we laugh at it.

When the awful multitude appears
My heart is tightened with loneliness
When all the buoys have fled
What remains in this destroyed world?
I still have your eyes and your look left
These true mirrors of the soul.
For this traveller who is lost at night
They are two reliable guides whose flame
makes hope come alive
if only for one evening.

Deep as two wells
Mysterious as night
They burn forever
In the flames of love.

Light as rain
Under the moonlight
They know how to console
Lost spirits.

Sadness and loneliness die in
the sun of your eyes that touch me.
Their rays, through my tears,
made a rainbow of my dramas.
